DIET: Ok.  Quiznos 9″ (no cheese); Starbucks coffee with skim

GYM: No

CARDIO: 25 minutes (with 5 x 1 minute fast breaks for a good sweat and heart rate) in the evening (no food after)

First week sub-goal

My sub-goal for this week is to just get some consistency, to get back into the gym and diet for six days (rest on the seventh), and to refrain from smoking/alcohol.  I got down to 287.5 (from over 300lbs) last month, so if I can get back down to that weight by next monday I will be happy, though it will mostly be water loss as I will be cutting out my salt and creatine this week.

Today I’m starting my diet/gym plan for 2010.  This blog will act like my journal and I will try to update it every day.

Last night I was 296lbs (after going to the bathroom and disrobing fully).  My goal this year, ideally, is to be 240lbs or less, or the six-pack, whichever comes first.  If I can get to 230lbs or less and keep the strength and muscle, then that is okay too.

On Saturday I smoked my last cigar; I enjoyed it thoroughly but I was kind of ill and had a headache after smoking it (too much nitrogen!)  I will cut back alcohol drastically too.  I will allow myself a ‘cheat’ meal every now and then, so I might have one alcholic drink with it.  Alcohol inhibits fat loss, so obviously I need to cut it out.
