Got up today, took a pee, disrobed and stepped on the scale:
WEIGHT: 286.0 lbs!
Yay! I met my subgoal of 287.5 or less! I was worried I wouldn’t make it as I had a lot of salt the last couple of days. Even if I was 288 I would’ve been happy.
SUB-GOAL for WEEK 2: Weight down to 276-279 lbs by next Monday. I should easily be able to do it if I can continue going to the gym in the mornings and doing cardio in the evenings and dieting. This second week I’m not going to freak out if I miss a cardio or gym session or don’t diet strictly; as long as I’m consistent for this week I’m happy. Around week three or four I will start to get much stricter with my diet — I want a PERFECT day of dieting; that is, following my diet 100% perfectly.
Today I took a break from weights (slightly sore left knee from cardio, quite sore hand from throwing the heavy kettlebell over my head) and dieting; I had a Quiznos sub (with cheese) with a pop and later in the evening a Dominos pizza — back to it tomorrow.
